During my ERP career, I've sold, resold, implemented, integrated and customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) business software systems. The most common engagements I've directed are software selection and software implementation projects.

The ERP systems that I'm most familiar with include SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Great Plains, NetSuite and Aplicor. The CRM applications that I'm most well versed with include Siebel Systems, Onyx, Pivotal, Salesforce.com, NetSuite and Aplicor. I actually started implementing business systems at the tail end of the mainframe era with applications such as McCormick & Dodge, MSA and Dun & Bradstreet Software. In early 1993 I began implementing client/server erp systems from Oracle, PeopleSoft, Lawson and SAP and also began implementing client/server CRM systems from Onyx, Pivotal and later Siebel. During the last four years, most of my implementations have been with hosted applications (sometimes called software as a service) Salesforce.com, NetSuite and Aplicor. In addition to the business systems I've personally implemented, I've seen demo's and have done reviews on several others. I follow all of the market share leading ERP systems quite closely and really don't have any favorites. From my experience there is no one best ERP or CRM system, however, I am a firm believer that some business systems are clearly superior to others in many situations.

I really enjoy my career and am quite passionate about the ERP industry. I hope that over time this web site will extend my professional network and add to my personal learning experience.
